Junior Section
Welcome to the Harrow Town Cricket Club's Junior' section. We have a growing Junior section from the ages of 6 to 17. Children of all abilities and backgrounds are welcome to our Junior's coaching programme. Our aim is to provide quality coaching with emphasis on making the
learning of cricket enjoyable and safe. Harrow Town Cricket Club was selected as the showcase club by the ECB in 2013 mainly because of the work we do with young cricketers and for putting in place a structured and safe Junior's cricket
programme.
Junior Cricket
Currently
we have junior teams that compete in the MCA West Area U10, U12, and U14 age group competitions and there are weekly coaching sessions at
the club for boys ages 6 to 17. All coaching session are held under the
guidance of the certified coaches. We have had strong representation at Borough and Regional standard in accordance to the MCA pathway.
Junior's Summer Matches
Our Junior teams compete in the North Area of the Middlesex Colts Association League. Matches are held on Sunday or during the week except Saturday's. All matches start at 6:00pm except for Sunday's which are 10:00am. Players are expected to arrive to the ground at 5.30pm for a warm up and team meeting. For away matches all players must meet directly at the away venue and we do not arrange transport from our ground.
Junior's Summer Training
Our summer coaching takes place at the club on Sunday's from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Harrow Town Cricket Club.
Coaching Team
Our coaches hold the relevant coaching qualifications which are updated regularly in line with the ECB. They have a UKCC Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualification, DBS check, Safeguarding and Protection Young Children certificate and First Aid Certificate.

All our coaches are trained to do the following:
- Put an emphasis on enjoyment, team spirit, fair play and good attitude
- Create a friendly sporting atmosphere
- Ensure all guidelines from the ECB and the club are adhered to
Club Welfare Officer: Phil Mathew
They are there to provide advise and assistance on child welfare protection.
